Snapshot Sunday

Hi guys! I’ve been quite sick the past week so I didn’t really do much this week. I did a lot of resting, and I started watching Gotham with my husband. There really is nothing like Netflix when you’re sick.

Remembering Peaches

This week though, was a significant one, or at least it was to me. This week was both a sad week, and a happy week. This week marked one year since my dog, Peaches, passed away. I miss my little princess every day so it was a hard day.

Happy Birthday, Dex!

Happy Birthday, Dex!

On the happier side of things, on Friday this week my dog, Dex, turned one! We got him a few months after we lost Peaches to make sure that our other dog, Max, would have a companion. Max was really lonely and sad, and adding this little fluff ball to our family was a great choice. Every day with Dex is an adventure and he sure keeps Max on his toes. We love him very much and he is a great addition to our family.

On Saturday I was finally feeling a bit better so we went to a friends house to celebrate her birthday! It was nice seeing friends that we hadn’t seen in awhile.

Well… that was my week! I hope you all had a great week and are staying healthy! It is definitely the start of cold and flu season in Thunder Bay! If you are celebrating Thanksgiving this weekend, I wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving! I am so thankful for my husband, my dogs, my friends, my family and YOU! Thank you for making the first (almost) three months of this blog such a great experience. I love interacting with you via the comments, reading your blogs and coming up with new content to share with you.

What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving? Let me know in the comments below!

xoxo,

Robyn

  1. I’m so sorry to hear about you losing your dog a year ago, I swear that’s one of the hardest things in life. My dog is getting older now and my heart aches just thinking about the day she’s not with us anymore. 😦 Dogs just bring so much into our lives, don’t they?
