Hi guys! Today I have some products that I have recently (within the past month or so) used up. I absolutely love watching empties videos on YouTube so I thought I would bring the concept over to my blog. In case you haven’t seen an empties video (or blog post), it involves saving up your empty products and then sharing them with your opinion on if you would re-purchase that item. If my husband is reading this, I swear it isn’t hoarding, and yes I am going to throw them out now.

Batiste Dry Shampoo in the Blush Scent

After seeing KathleenLights talk about Batiste Dry Shampoo I was really excited to find it at my local Superstore. This was the only scent they had in stock at the time so I grabbed this one. As for the products performance, I was really impressed. I didn’t end up with the usual white cast that dry shampoo gives me, and it did a great job at reviving second-day hair. But, would I repurchase it? The only thing I didn’t like was the scent. I don’t normally like really floral scents so I found it to be very strong and it lingered. I used it up but I wouldn’t buy this scent again. I recently purchased a tropical scent and I’m much happier with it.

L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation

If you have been following my blog for the past few months you will know that this is one of my holy grail products. IT has a great finish (demi-matte) and it is long wearing. I have somewhat oily skin so I tend to get shiny and need to touch up, but with this I haven’t had that problem. Will I repurchase it? Of course, I actually did shortly before it was empty so that I wouldn’t have to go a day without it.

Maybelline Better Skin Concealer

I have been using this concealer every day since I purchased it. It does a great job at concealing my under eye and any blemishes. It has a bit less coverage than the Maybelline FitMe Concealer. I didn’t really notice my skin changing at all with continued use though. Would I repurchase it? Probably, but I just picked up a Maybelline FitMe Concealer because I think I liked that formula a bit more.

Maybelline Baby Lips in Quenched

Every day before while I do my makeup and when I go to bed at night, I put on a lip balm. It keeps my lips soft and helps prevent them from drying out if I wear a matte lipstick. This lip balm is great, it keeps my lips soft, it’s clear and it smells great. Would I repurchase it? Yes, absolutely. Now that the weather is getting colder though, I switched to the Dr. Rescue formula in Too Cool to help prevent chapped lips which is an issue every winter.

Garnier Ultra Lift Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream

I wanted to add a firming night cream to my night time routine. I’m pretty young so I don’t need anything extreme, I just wanted something to firm the skin and prevent future wrinkles. I picked this up as I had heard good things about it and I wasn’t disappointed. I can feel the difference and I am quite happy with the extremely subtle results. I also found the price to be very reasonable. Would I repurchase this? Already did after I scraped every last bit out of this jar!

Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray

This is a travel size that I picked up on a trip to Duluth, MN at some point from Ulta. I only really used it on special occasions so it took me quite some time to use it up. I definitely noticed a difference with the longevity of my makeup on those days when you know you can’t touch up. Would I repurchase this? Yes, I think I want to pick up a full-size of either this, or try out the De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray that they make.
