Hi guys! I finally caved and bought the MAC 242 Shader Brush! Since MAC had a code for free express shipping in Canada, I added a few other items to my order to make sure I met the $55 minimum. I’m not sure if the code is still active, but it is “NOV”. I love the express shipping deals since it really does feel like almost immediate gratification getting your items so quickly.
I added the matte lipstick “Studded Kiss” because I love their matte formula (it seriously lasts all day) and it looked like a beautiful rich wine/oxblood shade. As well, I purchased the eyeshadow “Mylar” because I’ve seen it used in a lot of tutorials online and it looks like a stunning brow bone highlight. I just got the refill pan since I wanted to put it in my Z Palette.
I also got a sample sized Prep + Prime Skin so I am excited to try that out! I love free sample sized items, it is such a great way to try new products and minimize the financial risk.

I have that 242 Shader brush on my wish list for ages! I just can’t justify the price when I’ve got so many great shade brushes already, but I’ve read lots of great reviews on that brush – great for packing on colour. And that lipstick looks perfect for the season – it’d look amazing with your colouring. 🙂

Thank you! I’m wearing the lipstick today and I looove it. Yes the price kept it on my wishlist forever but it was my birthday last week so I called it a late gift to myself 🙂 it’s supposed to work well with the MG Foiled shadows which was why I had been looking at it 🙂
