Hi guys! I hope you all had a lovely week. Yet another has wrapped up and here I am wishing that the weekends were longer.
I spent a lot of time with friends this week which was great because my husband was away for work. So, naturally there was visits and video games. It’s so great that I can count on them to distract me and cheer me up when I’m not having a great week. There is nothing like Yoshi’s Wooly World (which is an adorable game for the Wii U), wine and good conversation!

From Wednesday to Sunday this week I have been dog sitting for my parents, so I’ve had two dogs in addition to my own two. So my house was a little chaotic but full of puppy cuddles. I’m back down to two dogs now and the house feels unusually quiet.
The Edgy Eggplant Pizza from Both Hands… mmm!
On Friday when my husband was back we invited our friend over for some pizza and video games. We ordered from Both Hands which is one of our favourite local pizza places. There is nothing like a pizza cooked in a wood oven. Mmm!
This evening my husband and I went to see Jay Leno at the local auditorium. He was pretty funny. The only downside was it seems like he doesn’t change up his act very much so there were pieces that felt irrelevant as a Canadian. But all in all, it was a nice evening out and there’s nothing like a good laugh! Especially when the dreaded Monday is lurking around the corner.
