Hi guys! I decided today to share with you some of my favourite beauty gurus to watch on YouTube. I draw so much inspiration and learn so much but watching these ladies on YouTube. I’m always open to viewing new ones so please leave me your recommendations in the comments section!
- Jaclyn Hill
If you looked up the word ‘fabulous’ in the dictionary, you will probably find a picture of Jaclyn Hill. She’s beautiful, talented and goofy. She is always entertaining to watch and she knows her stuff! If I could do my eye makeup a fraction of as well as she does hers, I would be happy!

- The Glam Life Guru
Tati is incredible because she is so honest. She doe a lot of hot or not videos and she doesn’t sugarcoat it. If she doesn’t like a product, she will tell you and explain why. Also, she has the most soothing voice ever. She does a wide variety of videos so there is a little bit of everything.

- KathleenLights
Kathleen has a touch of sweet genuineness in her all of her videos. She is honest and films personal videos as well. She does a “Kat Chats” segment where she either does a Q&A or she picks a topic and talks about it. For example, she recently did one about high school.

- Young, Wild & Polished
Nicole of Young, Wild & Polished is the goofball of the bunch. Sometimes she can be a bit out-there but she is definitely entertaining. She does a lot of “get ready with me” type videos which are nice because they are a little more personal than a voice-over tutorial.

wow we watch the same youtube gurus…I watch all the ones you mentioned. They are my favorites as well. I recommend you check out Nelly Toledo she is very talented and I love her tutorials 🙂

I love watching YouTube beauty videos! I tried to get into watching Jaclyn but unfortunately I just couldnt🙊

That’s fair, I could see how she wouldn’t be for everyone. It took me a few videos to be hooked!

Yeah! I will sometimes watch her Q&A’s, hauls, and favorites still. I just couldn’t get into her makeup..I think it’s because she does mostly the same look over and over- just using different colors.
I’m a fan of Shaaanxo’s makeup tutorials, she is always trying new looks!

That’s very true! I think overall I prefer her favourites or any videos that don’t have a voice-over. You’re so right, it’s a lot of repetition for the tutorials.
