Holiday Look #2

Hi guys! I have another holiday inspired look to share with you today. Since green is a fairly prominent colour during the holiday season I wanted to do a look where the main focus is green eye shadow. It definitely has colour to it so it is not a neutral look, but I don’t think it is over-the-top or dramatic either. I feel like it could be worn to both formal or casual holiday parties. I wore this look to a Christmas dinner at a friends house which was also an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party.

Products Used:
Foundation: L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in Classic Ivory
Concealer: Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in Fair Neutral
Powder: Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder
Blush: Too Faced Love Flush Blush in How Deep Is Your Love?
Contour: Anastasia Beverly Hills Fawn
Highlight: Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Glow Palette – Pearl (cheek bone and brow bone)
Eyes: Urban Decay Primer Potion (original). Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Palette – Samael (transition shade). Urban Decay Vice 4 Palette – C-Note (crease, inner and outer part of eye lid and under eye). Makeup Geek Foiled Shadow in Fantasy (center of lid). Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner in Demolition (water line). Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant (lashes).
Brows: L’Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper in Light to Medium
Lips: Colourpop Lippie Stix in Fern

So, as you can see, this look required a little mixing and matching of palettes. I probably could have stuck with just the Vice 4, but I really wanted to add in the Foiled shadow from Makeup Geek and I wanted to add a matte tan shadow for my transition. “Delete” from the Vice 4 Palette was too dark for what I had in mind. I paired this with a purpley lipstick because green and purple are complimentary colours, however you could also pair this with a red or neutral lip too!

Have you done any holiday inspired looks yet this year? I would love to hear about them (or see links to them) in the comments below!

xoxo,

Robyn
