Hi guys! I saw this tag on BrightEyeBlog and thought I would get into the Christmas spirit and give it a go! If you haven’t checked out her blog, please do check it out!
1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?
It definitely would be Elf and then the Grinch (the Jim Carey one)
2. Roses, Quailty streets, celebrations or heroes?
None of the above (I’ve actually only heard of Quality Streets from those choices)… Red Lindor Chocolates or Turtles for me please!
3. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
It’s fake and I’m fine with that. I love that it is pre-lit and it doesn’t make a mess! I always had real trees as a kid, so throughout my life I’ve had the best of both worlds.
4. What’s your favourite festive food?
Stuffing with gravy, perogies, and cheesecake!
For Christmas baking I love my mom’s gingerbread cookies and shortbread cookies!
5. Favourite Christmas gift?
My husband got me a very nice pink heart shaped topaz necklace our first Christmas together so it holds a special place in my heart.
6. What’s your favourite festive scent?
I like Apple Cinnamon scents at this time of year! Kind of like a hot apple cider type smell. Mmm!
7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
Usually I have dinner at my parents house with my family, Gramma and husband. This year however, I’ll be spending Christmas away with my husband’s dad’s side of the family.
My husband and I usually also exchange our gifts on Christmas Eve shortly before we go to bed. This is because we are not morning people and we usually get up early to watch my little brother open his gifts. So, this has become our tradition. We come home from Christmas Eve Dinner, usually go our separate ways to wrap gifts (because we are procrastinators like that) and then we immediately open our stockings and gifts together.
8. What tops your tree?
A Santa Hat! I could never find a star that I liked so this is the alternative I went with and I love it!
9. Can you name all of the reindeer?
Hmmm… probably not… I’m sure I could at some point, but I’m out of practice, haha!
10. What’s your favourite Christmas memory?
The Christmases of my childhood. Opening presents at home, then at my Gramma’s house, and then going to the hall to spend Christmas with my Granny, Gramps, aunts, uncles, cousins and further extended family! I always got to choose one present to bring with me and then I would spend the afternoon playing with my older cousins. I looked forward to it every year and it makes me so happy to think back to those days.
I hope you enjoyed this post! I tag all of my readers and fellow bloggers to do this tag! If you do it please link your post below or answer the questions in a comment!
Happy Holidays!
