Snapshot Sunday

Hi guys! Another week has come to an end and this one was a busy one! The week started off with packing and getting ready to go out of town and finishing up work. It was a little hectic but once Tuesday after work rolled around my Christmas holidays began.

December 27-15

1. My husband looking festive in his GOT Christmas shirt and Santa hat, 2. The adorable mug set that our cousin got us for Christmas, I love it! 3. My husband, myself and our cousin on Christmas Day

Late Tuesday evening my husband and I boarded our plane and away we went. Our flight was delayed 45 minutes so we didn’t arrive at our final destination until about 3 am as we had a long drive from the airport after we landed.

This year for Christmas we are spending it with my husband’s dad’s side of the family so this year is quite a bit different for me than usual. It has been really fun though. Lots of delicious food has been consumed so I can’t wait to get home and start getting back into a workout routine again! I also can’t wait to see my family (including my dogs!) and friends when I get home.

On Christmas Eve we all went to go see Star Wars before dinner. My husband and I had already seen it, but we both were eager to see it again. Even though I loved it the first time around, I think it was better the second time. There are lots of Easter Eggs in the movie to look out for so that was my mission the second time.

Christmas Day was very quiet and relaxing. We had a nice big breakfast (full of bacon, mmm!) and then we opened gifts a bit later. We played a lot of UNO, had a delicious turkey dinner and then played even more UNO.

On Boxing Day, my [husband’s] cousin and I filmed the first of hopefully many videos that I will be posting on the blog! I’m really excited about this venture and think this was a great way to start my YouTube channel. It’s a really fun video. I’ll be teaching myself how to edit the video and I will be posting it as soon as it is ready.

A bit later on in the afternoon on Boxing Day the rest of the family arrived so there was even more food and games. I don’t think it is possible for me to consume anymore food, but I know I’ll be back at it later on this evening. I just keep telling myself that Christmas is only once a year.

Today we took a brief shopping trip and went to a giant shoe outlet store. I managed to only leave with one pair of boots so I’m pretty content. Despite the sea of Sephora’s in this part of the province, I’m not near any of them so sadly I think that is the only shopping that I will be doing while here.

I hope you have all had a lovely week and have been enjoying this festive season with your friends and families!

xoxo,

Robyn
