MOTD: New Years Eve Inspired Look

Hi guys! I can’t believe that 2015 is close to coming to an end. When I look back at the year, there isn’t a lot that jumps out at me aside from starting this blog. I really think that this blog was the highlight of the year because it was the moment that I decided to take a chance and do something that I love. I’m not going to get into my resolutions in this post, as that will be it’s own post, but next year I’m going to aim higher that’s for sure.

I thought it would be fun to do a New Years Eve Inspired look. If you haven’t already decided what you’re doing for makeup tonight, maybe this will help get the wheels turning!

Products Used:
Foundation: L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in Classic Ivory
Concealer: Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in Fair Neutral
Powder: Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder
Blush: NARS Orgasm
Contour: Anastasia Beverly Hills Fawn
Highlight: Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Glow Palette – Pearl & Champagne Pop mixed together (cheek bone) and Pearl (brow bone)
Eyes: Urban Decay Primer Potion (original). Kat Von D – Innerstellar Palette – Dios (transition/crease). Urban Decay Naked Palette – Gun Metal (outer half of lid). Too Faced – Return of Sexy Palette – Bombshell (inner half of lid and blended into Gun Metal, and inner half of under eye), and Hollywood (to define outer crease and outer half of under eye). Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner in Oil Slick (water line). Eyeko Black Magic Mascara (lashes).
Brows: L’Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper in Light to Medium
Lips: Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Scrooge

When I think of New Years my mind goes into a silver-overload so that was my inspiration for my eye makeup. I had to draw from a few different eye palettes but I’m happy with how this turned out. And yes, I’m wearing a Harry Potter t-shirt… I don’t want to put on my dress until later because I’m basically a walking tornado.

I hope you all have a fun and safe New Year’s Eve!
