Hi guys! My January Birchbox arrived yesterday which is always an exciting moment! However, I constantly spoil them for myself by checking on the Birchbox website to see which items they are sending me. Why do I do that to myself? As my husband pointed out, after he said “you already know what’s in there don’t you?”, it is much more fun to keep it a surprise. I’m going to have to do everything in my power to avoid temptation next month and truly keep it a surprise!

This month’s box came with stickers to customize the front of the box so I chose “ambition”. This year I’m going to work harder and I’m going to aim higher. I am going to set my goals and I’m going to work hard to achieve them. I’m going to spend more time working on this blog and my YouTube channel because they make me happy. 

Here is what I got in my January box:

Paula’s Choice | RESIST Ultra-Light Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum

I’m very excited to try this one! I’ve wanted to add a serum to my skincare routine so I’m really hoping I like it. It is supposed to minimize the appearance of pores and target wrinkles without retionol.

TONYMOLY | Delight Tony Tiny

This is a light-weight lip stain that is light and dries quickly. As I was swatching it I could see it drying below my eyes! It dries to a sheer matte finish which can be built up. I don’t usually wear lip stains but I’m eager to see if it really lasts all day like they claim!

JUARA | Candlenut Body Cream

This is a cream that smoothes, moisturizes and softens skin with the use of candlenut oil. I’ve never heard of candlenut, but this cream smells amazing! I’m definitely going to use this on my hands during these bitterly cold winter months.

gorge | I’ll Make You Look Amazing Daily Spray

This is a leave-in conditioning spray that has organic lime oil and green tea essences. It is supposed to add shine, reduce oil and protect hair. It literally says on the bottle that it is a “magical leave-in conditioning spray that will turn your hair into the sexiest hair ever”. Needless to say, I’m eager to find out if that is true!

Fave4 | Texture Takeover

This is a multipurpose spray that can be used on both wet and dry hair to boost body and texture. I find that as my hair gets longer and heavier I lose some volume so I’m looking forward to trying this, especially around the roots!

Once again I am impressed with what Birchbox has sent me!
