Hi guys! I absolutely love receiving my Colourpop orders! Their packaging is cute, the hand-written note is a nice touch and the products are always amazing! Best of all, I know I didn’t break the bank when I placed my order. I adore and support KathleenLights on YouTube so I knew when she did a second collection with Colourpop that I had to get my hands on it.

I literally just got these as I’m writing this so I haven’t had a chance to wear any of them but my first impressions are very positive. Everything is super pigmented and smooth as you can usually expect from Colourpop! I’m most excited about Weenie… it is such a gorgeous rose gold shade. Also, you can now purchase any of the KathleenLights eye shadows (both this collection and the previous one) as individuals, so if you don’t like all four shades in the quad, you can pick and choose which is great.
For the Lippie Stix, Aquarius is a cream shade and Taurus is a matte. For the eye shadows, Porter and Midnight are metallic, Telepathy is ultra-metallic and Weenie is pearlized.
There is a a bit less cohesion with this eye shadow quad than with the last one, but I like all of the shades anyways so I’m fine with that. I think KathleenLights did yet again another great job with this collaboration with Colourpop. I can’t wait to use these shadows and start doing looks using them!

I wonder how they come up with all the notes? Do they sit around and come up with a few of them and write out a bunch of the notes? I’m genuinely curious! 😛

Ugh I’m not placing any online orders from ColourPop or Makeup Geek (both brands I want to try) due to the darn exchange rate!
How much was shipping for this order, may I ask?

Yes, the dollar sucks! I have been trying to avoid shopping online from US websites but these items were too hard to pass up. Shipping was $12US, so the whole order was $37US because I used a $5 off coupon. So not too bad in total considering how much I got.

I think so too! Any order that comes with a hand-written note gets a plus in my book – when I was selling through my etsy store, I used to do that all the time! 🙂 It was my 1st order through them, so ordered several of their ultra matte lips. If I can get to it today, I’ll put up a post with swatches.
