Hi guys! I love receiving samples from Sephora. It’s a great way to try new products without breaking the bank. On my last Sephora order I cashed in on some points and added took advantage of one of their weekly specials since there were some perks that interested me.
I’m excited to try this one! I haven’t tried any of the “They’re Real” products from Benefit. I don’t have high expectations for the eyeliner as I’ve heard lots of negative reviews. It took me a bit to figure out how to use it to even get a swatch. It’s a good concept, gel liner in an applicator, but it’s kind of hard to use. If you do get it to work, it seems to last. I took a makeup remover wipe to get rid of my swatches and it removed everything but the eye liner. Perhaps the makeup remover sample will do the trick! I mostly went for this kit to get the mascara. I love trying new mascaras.
I also got the Murad Perfectly Ageless Skin Renewing Kit with my points. I’m all about trying anti-aging products as starting early is key. I’ve also heard good things about Murad. I’m going to try this for a few weeks and then I’ll check back in and let you know how it is!
I also added the Laura Mercier VIB & VIB Rouge Gift to my cart. It included a lipstick, a lip glacé and a foundation primer. I don’t really use lip glosses, this one felt a bit sticky so I probably won’t use it very much. It is in the shade Bare Naked. The lipstick is a Creme Smooth Lip Colour in the shade Audrey. It is a very smooth, lightweight cream formula that is supposed to last 6 to 8 hours. It’s a nice neutral red and I look forward to pairing it with a look and putting it’s longevity to the test!

Lipstick on the Lake 
I couldn’t figure out how to use that gel liner! It frustrated me to the point that I just tossed it.

I don’t even know! Maybe their full-size works slightly different? I wouldn’t buy it to try it though.

A friend of mine had the sample size and liked it (I’ll have to ask her how she got it to work well) but then she bought the full size and didn’t like it.

I live for samples! It’s always so great getting to try out a product before taking the plunge. I’ve found some of my favorite products that way!
