Mani Monday

P1020286

Hi guys! I’m back with another Mani Monday! Last week I included the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure shade Commander in Chic in my Drugstore Haul. I didn’t wait too long before putting this beautiful polish on my nails. It’s such a unique purple/brown/grey colour. It looks just as beautiful on the nails as it looked in the bottle.

Products Used:

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Commander in Chic (2 coats)
Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat (1 coat)

My only complaint with the last polish I used from this line was that it look forever to feel completely dry. Due to that I kept denting and ruining the polish while I was waiting for it to dry. This time I put a fast drying top coat on in hopes to fix that. It did help with the dry time but I noticed on my right hand (not pictured) the polish looked like it shrunk quite a bit at the tips. I’m thinking I either didn’t top coat fast enough, or I didn’t wrap the tips well enough. It was a bit weird! It didn’t look that bad though so I just left it be. Other than that, I’m much happier with the dry time and I’ve had it on for about 4 days now and just have minimal chipping. Most of which is on my right hand.

What do you have on your nails today? Let me know in the comments!

xoxo,

Robyn

  1. Even with the Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat, it took a long time to dry? Weird! Isn’t that top coat supposed to be fast drying?
Ooh I did actually take a pic of my mani today. I need to post it on IG. It’s one of the new Paul & Joe ones I got – so pretty!

  2. Lovely shade! I used this line on my nails last week (different shade) and it literally stayed put for 5 days straight – not a chip insight. I was really impressed! I did have some shrinking/wear on the tips – wonder if that has something to do with the formula in general?
