Hi guys! One of my goals this year is to try different lip products ranging from drugstore to high end. I tend to go for the same lipstick lines such as the Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks and the Colourpop Lippie Stix (to name a few). While I still love them dearly, I also want to switch it up and see what else is out there.

I was just causally browsing the Sephora website and they had a “Lip Boldly” feature on the front page that caught my eye. One thing led to another and I added quite a few to my loves list that I wanted to eventually try. I’m going to continue to order a few in every once and awhile so this is the first batch. I’m also going to pick up lipsticks from the drugstore as well throughout the year. My plan is to eventually do a big collective comparison closer to the end of the year! For now, this Love for Lipstick series will primarily be hauls, but will eventually include mini comparisons.

So, for round one, this is what I picked up!

1. Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani: Rock Steady
2. Marc Jacobs Beauty Lip Crème: Je T’Aime
3. NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil: Damned
4. Bite Beauty Matte Crème Lip Crayon: Framboise

I’m really excited to try these out and see how all of them wear! I’m particularly excited for the matte lipsticks as I’ve been obsessed with matte lips lately. I just love how matte lipsticks have a long wear time so that I don’t have to worry about touch-ups.
