Makeup of the Day

P1020390.jpg

Hi guys! Today I thought I would show you the makeup that I am wearing today. I wanted to go neutral because I was planning a very casual outfit (it’s Friday!) but then the blue shadow in the Gwen Stefani Palette jumped out at me. So… I added a pop of colour under my eye! I’m happy with how it turned out!

Powder: Maybelline Matte + Poreless Translucent Powder
Blush: Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in Candy Glow
Contour: Anastasia Beverly Hills Fawn
Highlight: theBalm’s Mary Lou-Manizer
Eyes: Too Faced Shadow Insurance Primer. Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Palette – Stark (transition), Aneheim (crease), Steady (all over lid), Serious (blended into outer edge) and Danger (under eye). L’Oreal Telescopic Carbon Black Mascara (lashes).

This post actually sums up how well Nivea Post Shave Balm works because I put this all on around 7:30 am this morning and I took this photo around noon. Aside from a bit of oil (which I did have to apply a bit of extra matte powder to counteract, my makeup looked exactly the same as it did this morning! Amazing.

What is your MOTD today? Let me know in the comments down below!

Robyn

  1. You look great in pink!

I need to give the Nivea Balm a try again, I used a few times and I didn’t find it worked for me at all. I hear you’re really supposed to rub it in, which I definitely did not do when I tried it.

    Beautiful look!

    • Aw thank you! I didn’t like it at first because I found I looked soooo shiny by lunch time but, despite that my makeup was completely intact, including my highlight which is usually the first to disappear! So I make it work. I think I had the issue with rubbing it in the first few times too but now I keep at it until it gets sticky and it works like a charm!
