Hi guys! Where did this weekend go and how is it Sunday evening already?
I didn’t really take any pictures this week either! Not that I did much throughout the week… I worked, as usual, went to the gym a few times with one of my best friends and started playing Zelda Wind Waker (again). My husband was away for work for the week so I enjoyed gaming on the big tv while he was gone.
He got back on Friday so we went out with one of our best friends. We were going to go to the Sovereign Room but by the time we got out (after having a few drinks at my house and watching some YouTube videos) it was pretty packed in there. So, we walked a bit further and went to On Deck. It was pretty busy there too but there were tables free so we stayed there. I must say, this was the first time I have walked in there and felt old. The crowd seemed younger than usual. But, we enjoyed some nachos and some roasted red pepper wings before calling it a night. I did run into one of my friends that I haven’t seen in awhile there so that was great! You can always count on running into someone you know there. All in all it was a fun night!
I was really tired on Saturday so I didn’t do a whole lot. My husband and I started playing Pokemon Red and Blue which were added to the 3DS virtual console in celebration of their 20th anniversary. It’s always fun to go down memory lane. The older Pokemon games are so much harder than the newer ones, so it’s been a fun challenge. Playing these games together is something that my husband and I have always enjoyed doing together and I don’t think we will ever stop. We also started watching the Netflix series Love which I’m enjoying so far!
Today I’ve done a bit more gaming, ran some errands and have been working on some upcoming blog posts. Next I’m going to put away some laundry (ugh) and then paint my nails. I guess at some point I’ll also have to accept that tomorrow is Monday. I hope the work week goes by quick and painlessly!
