All About That Glow: Spring Wishlist

Hi guys! I thought it would be fun to share with you some of the products I’ve been eying up lately, especially with the upcoming VIB sale at Sephora! I feel like most of my wish list seems to revolve around highlighting the face which I have no issue with at all. You’ll be surprised to see there isn’t a single eyeshadow palette on this list! Shocking considering I’m usually such a palette-junkie.

Let’s dive into what is currently on my Sephora wish list!

Highlighters

Urban Decay Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Highlight: Aura

This light pink highlight has had me hooked since I saw it start to appear online recently. I think it would compliment my fair skin so I know it needs to make its way into my online shopping cart ASAP. Also, I love the Afterglow blushes, they are my favourites, so I have high hopes for the highlighters!

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter Pressed: Pearl

I actually have this in my Champagne Glow Palette and I love it. It’s absolutely stunning. I heard the formulation on the individual compact is much smoother than in the palette. I use the one in the palette all the time so I think a full-sized one is a must!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit: Gleam

I think pink highlights and I are having a moment. This highlight palette looks beautiful. However, it isn’t a top priority as I think I would probably only use the shade Crushed Pearl regularly. I wish I had a Sephora near me so I could actually swatch it in person!

Blushes

Urban Decay Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Blush: Crush

I currently have two blushes from the Afterglow line and I am in love with them. I think this bright pink would be perfect for the Spring and Summer months.

Becca Mineral Blush: Flowerchild and Wildhoney

I haven’t tried Becca’s blushes but I have heard good things about them. They are apparently very pigmented though so a light hand is essential. These two shades look very natural and given the pigmentation of these blushes, I feel like they would be easier to work with.

Bronzers

Benefit Cosmetics: Hoola Matte Bronzer

I don’t really own any bronzers, aside from what is in the ABH Contour Kit and I feel like this would be a good one for me. I’ve swatched it at Shoppers Drugmart and I love it. It seems like it would pair well with my cool-toned fair skin. I generally stay away from any bronzers that look too warm or orange as they clash with my skin tone.

There is of course a LOT more on my Sephora wishlist, but I thought I would stick mostly with the face for this post. I would love to hear what you have on your wishlist for Spring or for the upcoming Sephora VIB sale!

xoxo,

Robyn

  1. I think I’m having a moment with pink highlighters TOOOOO! I love the one shade in that Anastasia highlighter palette (I think the shade is called Hard Candy) – it’s a pink / peach duochrome and I want to slather it all over MAH FACE!
I got the famed Becca highlighter in Opal and it’s fantabulous. I get compliments on my highlight every time I use it (once from a MAC MUA, no less!)
I haven’t had an itch to buy cheek products in a while but your post is reigniting something LOL. You’ve seen my blush stash, oiy.

    • I feel like I go through moments with cheek products! Either I am after a bunch or I’m caught up with lipsticks or palettes. I love the Becca highlights that I have in the Champagne Glow Palette but I heard the individual ones are even better! That shade in the ABH Gleam Palette sounds amazing. I’m going to go look at swatches right… now! 🙂
