Hi guys! How is it Sunday again already? This week has been fairly eventful as I started my new position at work on Monday. I’ve been learning lots and have definitely been enjoying it!
Other than that, I didn’t really do that much during the week outside of work. I’ve been exercising quite a bit and trying even harder to stick to my routine.
On Monday, since it was a holiday I went for a walk around Boulevard Lake with one of my besties and her adorable pup, Winnie! It was a beautiful day for a walk and the snow was almost all gone (at that point… its come back and left again twice since then). After that I had an Easter dinner at my parents house which was delicious as usual! Always look forward to my family dinners there!

1. Red Pepper Pasta and Short Rib Ragu from Big Lakes Pasta/Redhead and the Chef 2. The snow just seems to melt and then come back! 3. One of my besties surprised me with this Black Widow bobblehead from Funko Pop, he knows me well!
On Saturday, my husband and I went to the Spring Home & Garden Show and browsed around. I ended up taking home some homemade pasta and sauce from one of the vendors at the market there. I think I’m going to have to go to the market again next weekend and pick up more pasta, and possibly some perogies too! I already made the pasta and it was incredible. Both were purchased from Big Lakes Pasta but the sauce was made by Redhead and the Chef. Highly recommend both!
Later on, we had a friend over for video games and drinks. Always a fun time! We played some Exploding Kittens (card game) to start and then ended up playing Super Smash Bros and Mario Party later on.
Today I haven’t done much. Just the usual Sunday laundry-fest and went to get groceries. I watched the Juno’s tonight. I think it’s the first time I’ve actually watched them! Coleman Hell was up for an award and he performed so I couldn’t miss that. It’s so great to see one of my fellow Hammarskjold High School graduates doing so well! He didn’t end up winning the award he was up for, but he rocked his performance! It feels like just yesterday he was entertaining everyone in drama class. He’s come a long way since then!

Homemade perogies are the best – my SO and I get some from St Lawrence Market from time to time. Cheese and bacon is our favourite flavour.
That’s so neat that you went to school with someone now in the public eye – it’s like supporting a family member in a way! 🙂

Yummm! Those perogies sound amazing. Perogies are my favourite food ever. The stand at the market had a whole bunch of different ones… I think I need to try the cream cheese & dill next weekend 😍😍
Yeah its sooo surreal watching him perform on television! So proud of how well he’s doing!
