Hi guys! Book Club this month is a bit sparse, I only managed to read one book. My goal is to read two every month but I ended up unusually busy during the month of April. I did get a chance to read more towards the end of the month so, I did manage to read at least one. I didn’t think I was going to finish any at the rate I was going! But, I can always do better in the month of May! It’s finally warming up outside so I’m looking forward to reading on the deck.
Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns by Lauren Weisberger
This is the sequel to Lauren Weisberger’s The Devil Wears Prada, so if you enjoyed that book then I think you will enjoy this one as well. Once again we follow Andrea Sachs as she navigates through her personal and professional life. This novel takes place ten years after the original and much has changed in Andrea’s life. She has met a new man, and has started up a successful bridal magazine. However, this new path she is on leads her right back to the devil herself, Miranda Priestly. I enjoyed reading it, and as I said, if you enjoyed the original, chances are you will enjoy this one too!
So, that is what I have read this month! I would love to know if you have read anything lately so please feel free to leave a comment down below! If you would like to participate in May’s Book Club let me know and we can link each other. Please contact me at lipstick.on.the.lake@gmail.com if you are interested.

I read this one a few months ago too! I liked it but not as much as the original (but I LOVED the Devil Wears Prada).
I see a few Cecila Ahern books in your collection – one of my favourite authors! 🙂

Yes, Cecila Ahern is great! I need to read more of her books. Any favourites? While I have a few of them I think I’ve only actually read Ps. I Love You and Where Rainbows End!

I need to go through my collection and get back to you – I can’t remember the titles but I’ve read quite a few of hers. I really like Emily Griffin too!

Oh I like Emily Griffin too! I’ve read all of hers except perhaps her most recent one… I’ll have to take a look! Her books are great for summer reading on the deck at the cottage which I’m very much looking forward to this year!
