Hi guys! I don’t normally do a monthly empties post (I did a “Empties So Far” style post in April) but in May I finished enough stuff to be worthy of it’s own post! I was pretty excited when I looked at my stash of finished products and saw this many items, so let’s go through them!
Garnier | SkinActive Micellar Water (Waterproof)
I was really sad to finish this product. It’s really great for removing making and really cut time in my night-time routine. Prior to using this I was removing my face makeup and eye makeup with different products. Definitely a great product, this was my first Micellar Water and I look forward to trying more. Would I repurchase it? Yes! Absolutely. I also did a first impressions post on this product which you can find here!
Spectro | Cleanser for Blemish-Prone Skin
I can’t believe how long this thing lasted me. In fact, I can’t even remember when I purchased it. This is a very gentle cleanser that does a great job at cleansing the skin. I chose the blemish-prone skin formula since my skin airs on the oily side. I actually don’t get many blemishes but I find this one helps with my oil. Would I repurchase it? Yes, and I already did!
Garnier | Ultra-Lift Anti-Wrinkle Firming Eye Cream
I like adding anti-aging products to my skin care routine as a preventative measure. I like this eye cream because it fully absorbs so that you can use it both during the day and at night without it affecting makeup application. You don’t need to use much so this tiny jar will last you a long time. I believe I purchased this in the fall. Would I repurchase it? Yes! I think I did but they may  have changed the packaging because the one I have now is in a red jar. I think it is the same thing though.
Olay | Complete All-Day Moisturizer (Combination/Oily Skin)
Yes, I finished another one of these! Last month’s empties post was an empties “so far” post though so I hadn’t JUST finished it when I wrote that. Because I just talked about this, I won’t go into much detail. Would I repurchase it? Yes, and I already did.
Maybelline | Lash Sensational
This is a fantastic mascara. It gives so much volume and curl to the lashes. I did a full review on it here if you are interested in reading more about this beauty! I love wearing it on it’s own but I also enjoyed layering it over the L’Oreal Telescopic Carbon Black Mascara which I will be talking about next! Would I repurchase it? Yes, but I am trying a different mascara this quarter so I haven’t purchased another quite yet.
L’Oreal | Telescopic Carbon Black Mascara
Another great mascara. I liked this one for lengthening and separating the lashes. It also has a very tiny brush that is perfect for the bottom lashes. I did a full review on this one too which you can find here! Would I repurchase it? Yes! I think I’ll repurchase this one soon because my bottom lashes miss it!
NYX | Microbrow in Taupe
I loved the way this brow pencil made my eyebrows look. They look so defined and natural looking. The only thing I didn’t like is how quickly I went through it. In Canada NYX is one of the pricier options at the drugstore so I feel like I didn’t get as much bang for my buck compared to other brow pencils that I’ve tried. Would I repurchase it? Probably, but I want to try a few other drugstore brow pencils first to see if it is worth it.
Maybelline | Baby Lips Dr. Rescue in Too Cool
This is my go-to lip balm. I wear a lot of matte lipsticks so this helps keep my lips moisturized and keeps them from getting chapped. I put it on every day under my lipstick and I put it on before bed. It has a refreshing minty scent and sinks right into the lips. Would I repurchase it? Yes! I usually switch back to the normal Baby Lips formula for the summer but I think this time I will stick with Dr. Rescue because I wear more liquid lipsticks this year compared to last. I have already repurchased this because I can’t live without it!
Well, those are my empties for the month! I would love to read about your empties for the month so feel free to leave your links in the comments below, or chat about them!
