Hi guys! I’ve been posting like crazy about the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection lately. You can see my previous posts in the following links: Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette, MOTD: Let it Glow! & Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Eye Palette. To finish off this mini “series” I wanted to do a look using both palettes! They compliment each other beautifully so I couldn’t wait to pair them!
Primer: Nivea Post Shave Balm in Sensitive
Foundation: L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in Classic Ivory
Concealer: Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in Fair Neutral
Powder: Maybelline Matte + Poreless Translucent Powder
Blush: Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette – Rosé Spritz
Contour: Anastasia Beverly Hills Fawn
Highlight: Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette – Prosecco Pop
Eyes: Urban Decay Primer Potion (original). Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Eye Palette – Cordial (crease), Champagne Toast (all over lid), Cognac (outer v), Bordeaux (over v and under eye) and Chardonnay (inner corner). Revlon Dramatic Definition Mascara (lashes)
Brows: L’Oreal Brow Artist Shaper in Blonde and L’Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper in Light to Medium
Lips: Colourpop Lippie Stix in Topanga
My photos do not do this look justice at all! These eye shadows all effortlessly blend together to create the perfect eye look. Usually I lay down a neutral eye shadow to set my eyeshadow primer to make blending mattes easier but Cordial blended with ease into my crease without this step. I was amazed! If you are considering picking up this palette, I highly recommend it. I also have been testing the Revlon Dramatic Definition Mascara so I will have a review on that coming up!
What are your thoughts on this Becca x Jaclyn Hill Collaboration? Let me know in the comments down below!
Update (June 7, 2016): Jaclyn Hill just announced on Snapchat that the Eye Shadow Palette will be discontinued effective immediately and will not be part of the in-store release on June 16th. Apparently the quality was not consistent. Although I got fantastic palette, some people received chalky ones. Jaclyn was not happy with this and both her and Becca decided to pull the palette. The issue was at the lab. Becca used a different lab than normal for this product and the result was inconsistent palettes.

Would have been perfect if you had something that was called Champagne on your lips huh? How do you like the Revlon mascara?

Really pretty! That’s crazy that they’ve pulled the palette! I’ve read/heard some pretty unfavourable reviews of it though. Thankfully you got a good one! 🙂

Yeah I’m glad too because I love this palette. It practically blends itself. I can’t imagine it being bad but I guess a lot of them were! Too bad they couldn’t just fix it. The shades are gorgeous!
