MOTD: Playing with Brights

Hi guys! Today’s Makeup of the Day is inspired by Kathy Lei’s post It Was All Yellow! I loved her take on a bold, bright yellow, and while that colour would not work on me, I decided to dig out my Urban Decay Electric Palette and add a bit of neon pink to my makeup today! You should definitely check out Kathy’s post as the looks she created in it are beautiful!

I’m really happy with how this look turned out! I decided to do more of a neutral with a pop of bright since I was wearing this while running errands today. I am definitely inspired to add more pops of other bright shades from the Electric Palette to other looks.

What are you wearing on your face today? Let me know in the comments down below! And be sure to check out Kathy’s post here!

Robyn

  1. Thanks Robyn for the mention, I just got back from vacation and your lovely words really helped beat the post-holiday blues! This look is great on you, the pink really suits you – and I love how you made it wearable for running errands 🙂 So glad you’re giving bright colours a try, they’re so much fun. Can’t wait to see your next look xx
