Too Faced Totally Cute Palette

Hi guys! I posted a quick Makeup of the Day Post a few days ago using most of the shades in the Too Faced Totally Cute Palette and I’ve been using it a lot ever since so I’m ready to share my thoughts on it and show you some swatches!

First off, the palette comes with two sheets of cute stickers so you can customize the palette to your liking. I thought this was a fun idea and reminded me of how much I loved stickers as a kid. It also reminded me that I’m very particular with sticker placement so I spent some time arranging them the way I wanted it. I appreciated the I ♥ Bunnies sticker as I recently adopted a bunny just over a month ago! Anyways, the stickers are a cute idea and the customization gives this palette a personal touch. It’s nice knowing that my palette is likely quite different looking than everyone else’s.

The palette comes with three large eye shadows and six smaller ones. There’s a nice mix of colours, a few neutrals and some colour as well. Three of the shades are matte and the rest have shimmer. The one thing I wish this palette had would be a more neutral matte shade. I wore the Clover today and I felt like the transition shade (Bunny Fu-Fu) was a bit too warm for to so I used a transition from another palette. Otherwise, I think you have lots of options in this palette for a variety of different looks. I enjoy that Too Faced includes an insert with a few looks you can do using the palette. It’s a nice touch and great for inspiration.

L to R: Double Scoop, Bunny Fu-Fu, Chocolate Donut, Shooting Star, Clover, Storm Cloud, Unicorn, I ♥ TF and Meow!

As for the shadows themselves, they have all performed well. The mattes don’t look that great from the swatches (I find mattes are always a pain to swatch though) but they blended in nicely and were not patchy at all. My personal favourites from this palette are Shooting Star, Clover and Storm Cloud.

Here’s a look I did just using Clover from this palette (I used Samael from the Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Palette in the crease and Smashlee from the Violet Voss x Laura Lee Palette in the outer v). If you would like to see a look using just this palette, you can check out my Makeup of the Day Post from a few days ago here! I used almost all of the shades in the palette for that look so it gives you a better idea of what they look like on! I just thought I would include this green look that I did because I was really fond of how it turned out! I do wish there was more shades in the palette that would go with Clover though.

So, overall, this is a great palette and while it isn’t perfect, there are many looks you could do using it! With it being a small palette (I actually was surprised by how small it was – this was my first Too Faced Palette of this size) there is obviously going to be some limitations with colour selection. This palette is limited edition so if you’re considering purchasing it, do keep that in mind. I’m definitely an eye shadow palette person so I’m really enjoying this palette and am glad I purchased it.

  1. I think all palettes should come with STICKERS! Ahhh this brings me back to grade school. I had such a massive sticker collection too… I digress!
I really like that shade “Bunny Fu-Fu” both for the colour and the NAME, haha! I agree, a more neutral matte would be good.

    • Yeah I’ve been loving Bunny Fu-Fu in the crease for warmer looks, but definitely missing a netural matte! and yes, all palettes should come with stickers! It’s so much fun playing with them and getting all nostalgic! Plus the names of the shades are all really cute!

  2. Storm Cloud looks duochrome & similar to the shade Girly they had in a LE holiday palette a couple years ago, which is also similar to MAC’s Blue Brown pigment & Club pressed shadow.
