Hi guys! I feel like October started out slow and then once we hit the half-way point the rest just vanished.  How it is October Favourites time already? Though I don’t appreciate the weather getting colder, October is a beautiful month. The leaves have changed colours and have fallen and it ends with my favourite holiday, Halloween! This was definitely a month where I reached for certain products constantly so more so than ever, these products are well-loved favourites.

Kat Von D | MetalMatte Palette

This shouldn’t come as a surprise as I’ve already posted about this palette twice (here and here) this month. I just love the wide array of colours, the quality of the eye shadows and just how much it inspires me every time I reach for it.

Lorac | Pro 2 Palette

When I wasn’t wearing the Kat Von D MetalMatte Palette, this is what I had on my eyes. I should have included this in my September favourites, but I forgot to, but I’ve been wearing this pretty regularly for the last couple of months. Again, great quality eye shadows and I really enjoy the colour selection. I’ve done two looks with this palette for the blog and I’ve also previously swatched it.

Colourpop | Ultra Satin Liquid Lipstick in Baracuda

I’m pretty new to the Ultra Satin Liquid Lipstick world, as I favour mattes, but I finally tried a few of Colourpop’s and I love them! Particularly, the shade Barracuda! It’s a warm deepened rose and it looks absolutely lovely. I was pretty impressed with the wear time for this as well, I didn’t have high expectations given it isn’t matte. I’ve previously swatched this shade here and I used it in one of my looks in this post. Colourpop recently announced they have brought back their free international shipping on orders over $50 USD until the end of the year too!

L’Oreal | Revitalift Bright Reveal Brightening Dual Overnight Moisturizer

I talked about this in my full post about the L’Oreal Revitalift Bright Reveal line and this was one of the standout items. This Brightening Dual Overnight Moisturizer is two treatments in one and not only feels luxurious to use, it makes your face feel wonderful in the morning. It both removes dead skin cells and rejuvinates the skin with it’s brightening formula. This product is definitely worthy of being part of my October Favourites!

Coleman Hell | Summerland

I have been waiting for Coleman Hell’s debut album for awhile so when it finally released on October 14th I immediately went to the store to pick up a copy. Yes, I still buy physical CDs… sometimes. I went to high school with Coleman and have been supporting his music for many years so I had to pick up the actual CD. Anyways, I’ve had this album on repeat since I got it and it is amazing. I can’t even pinpoint my favourite tracks, they are all great! Can’t wait to see him again live when he comes back to his hometown as part of his Summerland Tour in November!

Aaron Carter | Fool’s Gold

Okay, so I hadn’t listened to Aaron Carter since I was probably 12 or 13 years old. But, I’m going to see Nick Carter in November so while browsing on Twitter for updates about the ticket sales, I saw that Aaron had released a new single in 2016. I was intrigued so I gave it a listen and I am hooked. It’s so catchy and it is basically always stuck in my head. I recommend giving it a listen!
