Hi guys! This is my last eye shadow palette from my birthday hauls (birthday and VIB sale) and I saved the most luxurious for last, the Natasha Denona Eyeshadow Palette 5 (Colour 1). I’d had my eye on Natasha Denona eyeshadow palettes for quite some time now and with the VIB sale, I had all the convincing that I needed to pull the trigger.
Though pickings were slimming during the VIB sale, I ended up choosing Colour 1 out of all of the Natasha Denona Eyeshadow Palette 5 options available. I wanted something with an interesting and unique colour selection. This particular palette contains one matte shade and four shimmers. The first three shades are more shimmery and satiny and the last one is more of a glitter.

L to R: Golden Aquamarine, Navy, Piggy, Graphite and Slate
These shadows were definitely everything I dreamed of in terms of application. They are pigmented and very smooth to apply. The only shade that was difficult to work with was Slate but only because there was a LOT of fall out when I applied it. Despite that, I still love the way it looks on the eye. Fall out isn’t really a deal breaker for me, I just modify my makeup routine (ie. eye shadow first and then foundation). While Navy is great crease shade, if you want to add in a transition colour then you will need to bring a favourite from another palette or eye shadow single.

I think come the next VIB sale I would pick up another one of these but I’m not sure if I could muster up the courage to pay full price. However, the eyeshadows do feel luxurious to the touch and apply beautifully. I wasn’t sure if I felt like I needed another until I started looking at the other colour selections and they are all just so beautiful. Also, can I just say, I’m obsessed with Anastasia Beverly Hill’s Liquid Lipstick in Crush? 😍

I think out of the 5 colours, I’d only really wear the shade Graphite. But it’s good that the quality is high, considering the price! I have a couple of Guerlain palettes and they’re nice but I do question if I really got them for the packaging more than the eye shadows. 😛

It’s definitely a unique array of colour choices, I think that’s what drew me to this one! Graphite is stunning, I can’t wait to create some dramatic looks with it for the holiday season!
