Hi guys! I reviewed a few Maison Jacynthe makeup items a few weeks ago and today I’ve got a skincare item that they also sent to me for review. It is their lovely Eau Florale de Rose, or in English… Rose water! What drew me to this item is that I don’t really have any facial mists that I use and I enjoy trying out new things. So, let’s take a look at this Maison Jacynthe Eau Florale de Rose!

First off, I love the smell of this product. It truly smells like beautiful roses. Maison Jacynthe Eau Florale de Rose brings back wonderful memories of my childhood. We had a rose bush in my backyard and I loved to pick the pedals and put them in water to make my own “perfume”. When I spritz this on my face, I feel like I’m being transported back in time.

The mist that the Maison Jacynthe Eau Florale de Rose delivers is very fine and feels luxurious to apply. My favourite uses are either prior to applying another skincare item, such as moisturizer or an essential oil, or in the evening when my face is feeling a bit parched. My skin normally doesn’t feel too dry, but the winter months do take a bit of a toll.

The only downside to this product is I found the packaging was a bit leaky when I received it. May have been from it being tipped all over during transit though. Kept upright, I don’t have any issues. It just made a bit of a mess when I opened the package. Thankfully, nothing else was in the box with it and it doesn’t seem like too much product was wasted. I didn’t see this issue in other reviews so this may have just been a one-off.
