Hi guys! I have my third and final Christmas manicure for you today and it features some Santa suit accents! I’ve seen this manicure all over Pinterest and I couldn’t wait to try it out for myself. I can’t believe this is my last Mani Monday before Christmas. But, I’m excited to get back to doing some every day manicures and nail art. The accent nails were not super time consuming so you could give each nail a Santa suit if you are so inclined.
Products Used:
OPI Chip Skip
OPI Nail Envy in Maintenance
OPI I’m Not Really a Waitress (2 coats)
OPI Alpine Snow (ring fingers only)
OPI Black Onyx (ring fingers only)
OPI Goldeneye (ring fingers only)
To do the accent nails I first applied my base products, red polish and top coat as usual. Once my nail polish felt 100% dry to the touch I then used striping tape to mark off the centre white section. Once my area was marked off I carefully applied the white polish and removed the tape immediately. I then free-handed the thin white stripe on the tips of my nails. Once that had dried, I used striping tape again to mark off the belt before carefully filling it in. Again, the tape came off immediately. Once that dried I used a striping brush to carefully add the gold buckle before finishing off with top coat.
Aside from the dry time between steps, this manicure probably only took about 10-15 minutes of actual work. Nice and simple, but eye catching! I’m really loving these Santa suit accents!
Have you guys tried any festive nail art? Let me know in the comments down below! If not, what’s on your nails today?
xoxo,
Robyn
