Holiday Look: Christmas Eve

Hi guys! For today’s holiday look, it’s also a makeup of the day post as I’m sharing what I am wearing for Christmas Eve. I have a family dinner tonight so I decided to do another festive look for the occasion. I say festive or holiday look loosely, as I’d wear most of these looks any time, but I find they all work well for the holiday season. I’ve been dying to use the shade Smashlee in the Violet Voss x Laura Lee Palette and just haven’t gotten around to it, so today seemed like the perfect time.

Products Used:

Primer: Nivea Post Shave Balm in Sensitive
Foundation: L’Oreal Pro-Matte in Classic Ivory
Concealer: Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in Fair Neutral
Powder: Laura Mercier Loose Translucent Powder
Blush: Becca Mineral Blush in Flowerchild
Contour: Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour Kit – Sombre & Lucid (mixed)
Highlight: Becca – Moonstone
Eyes: Urban Decay Primer Potion (original). Violet Voss x Laura Lee Palette – Britches (transition), Fried (crease), Yoshi (lid), Smashlee (outer-v & under eye) and Bubs (outer-v and crease). Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Liner in Demolition. Benefit They’re Real (lashes).
Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow in Taupe
Lips: NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella
Setting Spray: Make Up For Ever Mist & Fix

I’m loving the shades Yoshi and Smashlee from the Violet Voss x Laura Lee Palette side by side on the eye. They belong together. The green in the eye makeup and the red lips look very festive and truly make this great for a holiday look. I am putting this on fairly early so I used my Laura Mercier Loose Translucent Powder (used a “baking” method) and used a setting spray to prolong it’s wear time.
