Mani Monday: OPI Glacier Bay Blues & Comet in the Sky

OPI Glacier Bay Blues

Hi guys! Today’s manicure features OPI Glacier Bay Blues. A long discontinued polish that holds a special place in my collection. This polish is so old in fact it’s the old OPI formula and has the old smaller brush. I purchased this polish about 4 or 5 years ago, already discontinued at that time. I had been searching for it as I had seen it on tv and fell in love with the blue shade. The picture doesn’t pick it up but there are flashes of teal in it as well. OPI Glacier Bay Blues is from the 2004 Canadian Collection.

Products Used:

OPI Chip Skip
OPI Nail Envy (original)
OPI Glacier Bay Blues (2 coats)
OPI Comet in the Sky (2 coats, ring fingers only)
Glisten & Glow HK Girl Fast Drying Top Coat

Please ignore the red around my fingers. In my haste to get my posts ready for the holidays so that I can take some time off, I didn’t have time to get the red staining from my previous manicure out. It’s not blood, I swear! I normally do my nails, shower and photograph them the next day. This time there just wasn’t time. Anyways, I added Comet in the Sky as a glittery accent to spice up this manicure a little more. Also, I had never used it and it looked perfect for this combo. The picture doesn’t capture the different coloured glitter pieces. They are almost like a copper shade sitting in a blue tinted base with a couple bigger black pieces.

What do you have on your nails today? Let me know in the comments down below! Are you going Boxing Day shopping at all today? The husband and I usually go out in the morning to do a bit of shopping. Not usually tons, but we’ll see how this year works out!

xoxo,

Robyn
