Hi guys! Today I’ve got an exciting product review for you today. As a lover of matte lipsticks, I use a LOT of lip balm before application and when I go to bed at night. Lip balm is essential in my routine to keep my lips soft and prevent the dryness associated with matte lipstick. Cherish, the creator of Raspberrymint, kindly sent me two of her Sweet Lips to review. Considering how much I use lip balm, I was definitely up to the task of testing these out!
For those of you unfamiliar with the brand, Raspberrymint is a Canadian company with a focus on products that moisturize, nourish and hydrate which in turn promotes healthy looking skin and lips! They are cruelty-free and paraben-free.
I was sent two of the Raspberrymint Sweet Lips in the scents Passion Fruit and Blueberry. Not that I recommend eating them (though it’s likely at least safe to injest), but they smell/taste delicious! It is formulated without artificial colours, fragrance and synthetic preservatives.
I’ve been keeping one in my makeup desk and one in my purse and they have been a joy to use. My lips were drying out quite a bit prior to using them as it has been a dry winter here in Thunder Bay. However, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my lips over the last few weeks. They are no longer dry and chapped. Now that I’ve added the Raspberrymint Sweet Lips to my routine, I can go back to wearing super matte liquid lipsticks again without worrying about having flakey looking lips.
The best part is that these are only $6 on their website! For a natural lip balm that smells amazing and works, that’s amazing! I would definitely purchase more of these as I don’t think I could go back to the lip balm I was previously using. I will definitely need to check out more of their products.
