Mani Monday: Revlon Facets of Fuchsia

Revlon Facets of Fuchsia

Hi guys! Welcome to the first Mani Monday of 2017, kicking off the year I’ve got Revlon Facets of Fuchsia on my nails. This was a limited edition shade from Revlon that I picked up a few bottles of. It was love at first sight and I needed to make sure I had backups! Even so, I haven’t worn this polish in quite some time so I thought it was the perfect time to dig it out. Revlon Facets of Fuchsia is a glitter polish (fuchsia glitter pieces, who’d guess?) suspended in a black jelly base. My preferred way of wearing it is layered over a black cream polish to add opacity. Revlon Facets of Fuchsia is actually a dupe of Deborah Lippmann’s Bad Romance which appears to also be discontinued.

Products Used:

OPI Chip Skip
OPI Nail Envy Maintenance (1 coat)
OPI Black Onyx (1 coat)
Revlon Facets of Fuchsia (1 coat)
Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat (1 coat)

This whole manicure was pretty quick to throw together. Each polish was pigmented enough to do just one coat. I really love how dense the glitter is in Revlon Facets of Fuchsia so you don’t need multiple coats to get a decent glitter pay-off. Love, love, love this nail polish! I can’t believe I’ve been neglecting this favourite for so long. I guess that is what happens when you own more nail polish than you know what to do with, haha! I have another manicure in mind that I used to always do so… you’ll likely be seeing this beauty again in the nearish future!

What is your favourite limited edition nail polish? Do you own back-ups? Let me know in the comments down below!

xoxo,

Robyn

  1. I’m glad to know that I’m not the only one who buys back ups of nail polishes. I mean, I’ll probably never NEED that back up bottle but I feel better knowing I have it, ya know? 😛
This is so pretty – for a while there, Revlon was hitting it out of the park with all their dupes of higher end polishes like ones for Chanel. It doesn’t seem to be THAT much of a focus for them anymore though.

    • Haha yeah I have a few polishes that I just had to have backups of. I just feel better knowing I’ll likely never run out, haha!

I haven’t really been paying attention to Revlon over the past few years but yes there was awhile there where I constantly heard all about their dupes!
