Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette

Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette

Hi guys! Boy has this post about the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette been a long time coming. I’ve been working on this post for pretty close to a month now! Because of that, there have been changes in my equipment so my apologies in advance for the inconsistency in the photos. Anyways, from the moment the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette was announced, I knew it had to be mine. There was no question about it. It’s beautiful, it smells delicious and anything peach holds a very special place in my heart (more on that at the end of this post). I missed out on it the first time because I was about 15 minutes too late, but this time I snagged it right away! For this post I’ve pulled together four looks using the palette, which is mainly why this post took so long.

Review

When opening up the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette, the first thing you notice is the sweet sugary peach scent. I would say it’s comparable to peach candy, such as Fuzzy Peaches. I find the scent is an added bonus to the palette and it doesn’t linger on the skin for those who are sensitive to scents.

The packaging is a nice sturdy metal, similar to the Chocolate Bar palettes and it is a beautiful peachy ombre. Imprinted are several peaches because, clearly this is a peach themed palette.

The palette itself contains a variety of matte and shimmer shadows, as well as has a variety of shades. There are, of course, peach shades, but there is also some neutrals as well as some deeper more dramatic shades. Due to this, I think it is a fantastic every day palette. You could easily use this palette consistently but have a very different look each day.

I found the formula to be the typical Too Faced formula that you would expect if you are a fan of their Chocolate Bar Palettes. The mattes are smooth and blendable and the shimmers are pigmented and practically melt onto the lid. So far, my clear favourites are Bellini, Luscious, Just Peachy and Peach Pit (you will see them all featured in my looks below).

Overall

I think that the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette is definitely staple-worthy and could find a place in many makeup collections. The eye shadows are fairly consistent and easy to work with. I can definitely see what all the hype has been about! I’m so happy that Too Faced brought it back and it much easily to obtain.

Why Peaches?

So I mentioned at the beginning of the post that Peach anything means a lot to me. Two years ago the first dog that my husband and I ever adopted, Peaches, suddenly injured herself and we had to put her down. She was only five years old and she was the sweetest dog in the world. I miss her every single day and my princess will always have a place in my heart. So, when I saw this palette, as silly as it sounds, it reminded me of my Sweet Peach.

Have you tried the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette yet? Let me know what your thoughts were in the comments below!

  1. I haven’t tried this yet but I currently have one en route to my mailbox. I’ve actually never tried any of the Too Faced palettes (gasp!) so this will be totally new for me. I can’t wait!

  2. Great review! All of the shades are so gorgeous. It’s great that Too Faced released this permanently – and why shouldn’t they? It was so popular that it just means more money for the company, hah.
This palette kills me because I want it so much (the whole gimmicky peachy smell thing has especially sucked me in), but I have no business buying another neutral-ish palette!
I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your little Peaches, but it’s heart-warming to know that this reminded you of her!

    • Yeah I’m so happy to see this is permanent! I think it would be great for someone who is looking for a great every day palette!

And thank you for your kind words about Peaches, I miss her every day but when I pick up this palette I smile and think of her 🙂

  3. I really like the Bellini and Peach Pit looks you did! 🙂 I guess I’m just too jaded or OLD, I can’t get into the hype over these Sweet Peach items. This palette contains too many common colours that I already own dupes of.
And that’s really bittersweet about Peaches. I’m glad you gave her a good home while she was with you!
