Holiday Look: Valentine’s Day

Hi guys! With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, I thought it was appropriate to bust out my holiday looks series again. For today’s look I decided to create a look using my Valentine’s Day present from my husband last year (Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette) and put together a festive pink look! When I think of Valentine’s Day I just want to slather myself in pink! My apologies in advance for the photos being a bit out of focus, this is apparently what happens when I try to squeeze in a photoshoot before work… But, I think you can at least see the basics of the look!

Products Used:

Foundation: L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte in Classic Ivory
Concealer: Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in Fair Neutral
Powder: Becca Blotting Perfector
Blush: Morphe 9B Palette – 6th shade in the palette
Contour: Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour Kit – Sombre & Lucid (mixed)
Highlight: Laura Gellar Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Charming Pink
Eyes: Urban Decay Primer Potion (original). Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette – Almond Truffle (transition), Totally Fetch (crease, outer-v and under eye) and Cotton Candy (all over lid and under eye). L’Oreal Voluminous Smouldering Eye Liner in Black (water line and upper lash line). Essence Lash Princess False Effect Mascara (lashes).
Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow in Taupe
Lips: Make Up For Ever Aquarouge in 19 Pomegrante Pink

Despite the awful photos, I am really happy with how this look came together. I really love doing an all pink eye look. There is just something cheerful about it. Aside from Valentine’s Day, I’d wear this any old day. I am constantly playing with colours and changing up my eye make up.

Do you have a fun look planed for Valentine’s Day? Let me know in the comments down below!

xoxo,

Robyn

    • Thanks! Yeah I could see how pink could be a tricky colour to work with. It took me a bit to become confident enough to start working with it.
