Hi guys! It’s been quite some time since I’ve posted my everyday makeup look (and it was I think the SECOND post on this blog!) and lately, when I’m not feeling overly ambitious, this is the makeup look I’ve been rocking. So essentially, mostly day-to-day at work. Daylight savings time has made me a bit uninspired, but I’ve been really liking this combination of products! It’s flattering, simple and goes with what seems like everything.
Products Used:
Primer: Too Faced Hangover RX
Foundation: Maybelline FitMe Matte + Poreless in Ivory
Concealer: Tarte Shape Tape in Fair
Powder: Becca Blotting Perfector
Blush: NARS Orgasm
Contour: Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour Kit – Sombre & Lucid (mixed)
Highlight: Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone
Eyes: Urban Decay Primer Potion (original). Urban Decay Naked Palette – Naked (transition), Buck (crease), Sin (all over lid) and Hustle (outer-v and under eye). Essence Lash Princess False Effect Mascara (lashes).
Brows: Annabelle Skinny Brow Liner in Universal Tauple and L’Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper (clear)
Lips: Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Native
When I went to start this look I was faced with the tragedy of being completely out of my favourite foundation so I had to improvise and use Maybelline’s FitMe Matte + Poreless which if you read this post, you’ll know I don’t like it. It’s not so much the formula, it’s the shade. It feels a bit too yellow for me, but maybe it’s all in my head. Anyways, you also may notice that I’m using a different concealer! I finally splurged and ordered Tarte’s Shape Tape!!! I feel like Nicole’s post was the one that sealed the deal so I finally got around to ordering it. I’ll have a full review and pictures and what not coming up once I’ve tested it more. Initial thoughts? I’m really, really enjoying it.
I also decided to incorporate one of my top 5 neutral lipsticks in this look as well, as I typically will wear one of those five with this look. I feel like I’ve posted a look similar to this at some point, but I am definitely wearing it a lot more now than ever!
What is your current every day makeup look? Let me know int he comments down below!

Robyn
Tarte Shape Tape is awesome, isn’t it? It’s ruined me for all other concealers. I don’t care if I try another concealer again, I’m happy just to use this one for the rest of my life.
Loving that lip colour on you – so pretty and Springy! 🙂 Also based on your photos I find the foundation to be a perfect match for you! 🙂

Yeah I’m probably ruined now too, haha!
I’m surprised the foundation photographed well. When I wear it and look at myself in the mirror I feel like the slight yellow undertone makes me look sickly haha

I really like Native on you! It looks so pink on you – when I tried it in stores, it made me look dead.
The original Naked palette is such a classic!

Thanks! It’s coming! I’ve been so behind on blogging, I really need to catch up and get back into a routine. Long story short though, I love it!
