March Favourites: Makeup, Skincare & More!

March Favourites

Hi guys! Despite things being a little quiet over here, I still do have some favourite products that I used over and over during the month of March. I feel like March flew by faster than any other month of my life. With that said, I am looking forward to some hopefully nicer weather and am welcoming April with open arms.

March Favourites Makeup

Urban Decay | Naked Palette

I’ve probably mentioned this in a favourites post before but I honestly think I wore this palette almost every day this past month. That is, unless I had some kind of special event to go to, or I was feeling particularly creative. You can find the default look that I’ve been regularly wearing here!

Anastasia Beverly Hills x Nicole Guerriero | Glow Kit

I don’t normally mention things in my favourites the month that I got them, but I’ll make an exception for this beauty. I got this around the time it launched so I’ve had it for around 3 weeks now. I’ve been wearing this on an almost daily basis, as well have used it on my eyes. I’ve been really enjoying the shades Kitty Kat, Forever Young and Forever Lit as cheekbone highlights. Glo Getter looks fantastic on the lids! I also surprisingly loved Daydream on my cheekbones when paired with a peachy warm look. You can find my first impressions and swatches here!

Tarte | Shape Tape

I’m breaking my rule on posting about newly purchased items in my monthly favourites again… because Shape Tape is so freaking amazing. Tarte really hit it out of the park on this one. This really needs to not be a Ulta/Tarte.com exclusive though. I must say though, for $31 Canadian for Shape Tape (plus shipping, booo) which is 10 ml vs. $35 Canadian for my beloved Urban Decay Naked Concealer which is 5 ml… It is a justifiable purchase! I’m not going to go into detail about why I love it so much as I plan on doing a full post, but just know it was love at first blend.

Skincare

Too Faced | Hangover Replenishing Skin Primer

My skin has been hating me for the past few months. It’s been breaking out a ton, but it has also been looking a bit dull. I won this primer in a giveaway that Nicole put on and I’ve been loving it! It helps add a bit of extra moisture to my face, but hasn’t added any additional oiliness to my already oily face. My office at work was feeling super dry for a bit and I feel like this helped save my skin from feeling the full wrath of that as well! Once I finish up this tube I will definitely be purchasing more.

More!

Ed Sheeran | Divide

I am in love with this whole album! I don’t think I’ve met an Ed Sheeran song that I didn’t like but this album definitely lives up to the former albums. If I had to pick a few favourites I would say… Shape of You, New Man, Happier and Castle on the Hill are up there on my list! I recently purchased tickets to se Ed Sheeran on his North American Tour in July and I can’t wait!! I saw him open for Taylor Swift in 2013 and he was amazing.

What were your favourites for the month of March? I’d love to know so let me know in the comments down below! If you did a March Favourites post feel free to leave me a link and I’ll be sure to check it out!

xoxo,

Robyn

  1. I’ve read mixed things about the Tarte Shape Tape (I read it’s quite cakey?) I just wished it was available at Sephora so I can test it rather than relying on reviews!
Oooh I should really bust open that Too Faced Hangover primer – I have a deluxe sample tube of it.

  2. Glad you’re enjoying that primer – definitely one of my favourites.
I’ve been using my original Naked palette lately too as part of my Project Pan and it’s made me realize how good it is – definitely one of my all-time favourite palettes.
