Hi guys! April was kind of a quiet blogging month, I kept meaning to get posts up but time just kept slipping away. Makeup-wise, it was another simple month. I kept it pretty neutral and simple most of the month so I don’t have tooooo many favourites to chat about today. A few are old favourites that continue to be favourites!

Makeup

Lorac | Pro Palette 2

I’ve mentioned this for sure in previous favourites, but this past month it was my go-to, every day palette. I was mostly using the shades Nectar (transition), Lt. Brown (crease) and Beige (all over lid). I can’t speak enough for how wonderful this palette is to work with. The shadows are just so great! They kick off quite a bit of powder, but they blend and apply like a dream.

Urban Decay | 24/7 Eyeliner in Deep End

I featured this beautiful eyeliner a few weeks ago in a spring inspired look. I don’t wear a lot of blue on my eyes, but there is just something about this shade that seems to work for me. Also, it really had incredible wear time! It looked flawless all day which is rare in the waterline I find.

Skincare

Olay | Complete All Day Moisturizer (Oily/Combo Skin)

I switched back to my go-to daily moisturizer this past month after a failed attempt at trying something new. This moisturizer definitely has proved it’s place on my favourites list. My skin is no longer excessively oily and it wears so much better under my makeup.

Apple Music

I recently decided to give Apple Music a try and I’ve got to say, I’ve been loving it! I was a bit resistant to streaming music but I love the variety. I’ve been exposed to so much new music that I probably never would have purchased before. I’m definitely going to continue subscribing once my free trial is over! I also love that it is integrated right into iTunes which was my go-to music program already.

Yoga

I’ve started to regularly go to yoga classes again and I’m absolutely loving it. I can already start to feel an improvement in each class that I go to and it helps so much with clearing the mind. I’ve been particularly enjoying the hot classes.
