Love for Lipstick: Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick

Anastasia Beverly Hills CrushHi guys! I’ve got another Love for Lipstick post for you today and it’s a long overdue one. I’ve been meaning to review the Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks for some time now. I’ve got three of them now and I wear them all the time so I’ve definitely spent some time getting to know these beauties. Specifically, today we will be talking about the shade Crush.

The Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks have a slightly thicker formula as far as liquid lipsticks go. They feel almost mousse-y to apply to the lips. Due to this, they are quite easy to get a clean application. The formula dries down rather quickly and I don’t typically notice too much transfer throughout the day.

Wear Test:

  1. 8 am – freshly applied
  2. 12 pm – pre-lunch check-in
  3. 12:45 – post-lunch check-in
  4. 5 pm – final check in

As you can see, most of the colour stays on the lips throughout the day with no touch up. The centre does start to fade but the beauty of this colour is that in person, you hardly notice. Around the mid-day mark it did start to feel slightly drying on the lips, but it really didn’t bother me at all. Please note though, I seem to have a high tolerance for liquid lipsticks.

Personally, I’ve been loving the Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks. They last quite well throughout a work day and they feel comfortable enough to keep on. I can’t decide if the shade Crush or the shade Allison is my favourite. Crush is probably the shade that I wear more. It just seems to go with everything!

Have you tried any lipsticks lately that you really enjoyed? Let me know in the comments down below! If you haven’t read my previous Love for Lipstick posts you can find them all right here!

    • I’ll have to check out the glosses. I don’t normally wear gloss but I’ve worn a couple lately that I didn’t hate, and the ABH ones seem to get great reviews!
