A Week of Urban Decay Naked Heat

Urban Decay Naked Heat

Hi guys! I recently posted my first impressions of the Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette and today I’ve got a work week’s worth of different looks using it! I’ve been putting together these looks for a few weeks so as you can see in the post, my hair colour changes mid-way. Though the possibilities of this palette is quite limitless when it comes to putting together warm makeup looks I wanted to take the time to put together five looks that I think showcase this beautiful palette. So, let’s dive into the looks that I created…

Lip: Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Beeper

Blush: Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed

Lip: Rimmel The Only 1 Matte Lipstick in Trendsetter*

As I mentioned in my first impressions post, these shadows are great to work with. The only shade that I experience fall out with even when I tap off my brush is Scorched as it has some glitter in it. A quick sweep of a clean brush under my eye area clears it all up though so it isn’t anything that really puts me off using it.

While this warm palette probably isn’t for everyone, if you like to wear warm makeup looks then I would suggest checking out this palette! I have been asked how it compares to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette and honestly, I think they are quite different. The ABH Modern Renaissance Palette runs more orange and pink, whereas the Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette runs more red.

What is your favourite palette (or single shadows) to create multiple different looks with? Let me know in the comments below!

xoxo,

Robyn

    • Thanks! I started off wearing warm shades as pops of colour in otherwise fairly neutral looks and then it escalated into full blown warm eye looks. I was so unsure at first about wearing orange and red on my eyes, now they are practically staples!
