Revlon Mega Multiplier Mascara

Revlon Mega Multiplier Mascara

Hi guys! Influenster recently sent me the Revlon Mega Multiplier Mascara complimentary for review as part of a recent campaign. Since I loved the last Revlon mascara that I tried, I was really excited when I saw I was selected to participate. The Revlon Mega Multiplier Mascara is a tubing mascara that deposits fibres around your lashes for volume and length. Based on it’s description alone I was quite optimistic for this one (unlike the last mascara that I reviewed!).

The brush on this mascara is fairly average in size and tapers a bit towards the tip to make it super easy to use. If I can manage to not get mascara all over my under eye area when coating my bottom lashes then I call it a success! The flat style of the tube is nice as well as it doesn’t feel bulky in the hands and can be maneuvered easily. Also, since it doesn’t roll it is GREAT for photographing (blogger problems, am I right?!).

I’ve definitely noticed both volume and length when wearing this mascara. I find my lashes clump together REALLY easily and I didn’t have as much of an issue with clumping and this mascara. They still clump a bit but that’s just how they are with every single mascara. I was quite happy with my lashes on days that I used the Revlon Mega Multiplier Mascara.

As for wear time, I find that my lashes basically look the same when I take my mascara off at night as they did when my mascara was freshly applied. While it isn’t necessarily the easiest mascara to remove, a soaked cotton pad with some Garnier Micellar Water (for waterproof makeup) & some patience does the trick! One thing to note though is that because of the tubing nature of the Revlon Mega Multiplier Mascara I do find that it removes in little chunks so I’m always careful to not get these in my eye as I’m removing it. I learned this the hard way although I find my eyes are magnets for anything that shouldn’t be in them.

So overall, I’m pretty impressed with this mascara. I don’t tend to repurchase mascaras right away as I like to try different ones out but I would definitely consider purchasing it again (or perhaps another from their line-up since I’ve liked the two that I’ve tried).

What was the last mascara that you tried and really enjoyed? Let me know in the comments down below!

xoxo,

Robyn

  1. I’m currently testing this mascara out too – I’m not a fan of tubing mascaras but it’s one of the better ones I’ve tried. I like the length it adds to my lashes but I’m not crazy about how it clumps up on the tips and makes my lashes look kind of spidery. I do love that it stays put all day though – it’s nice to be flake-free for once!

    • Hmm I haven’t had much clumping in the tips myself, I’ve noticed it a few times though but usually I can get it o go away. It’s so strange/fascinating how personal mascara use is!
