A Week of the Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette

Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette

Hi guys! While I posted my first impressions of the Morphe’s collaboration with YouTuber, Jaclyn Hill, over the weekend, I thought today I would share with you five different looks that I created using it. There’s definitely many, many different possibilities with this palette but these are the first five that I created! I still have many more that I want to create but if I kept going this post would never go up.

My personal favourites of the looks I created would be the second makeup look (that purple outer v had me over the moon) and the fourth makeup look. I honestly didn’t have any issues using these eye shadows. One thing I did notice is that it was much easier to apply the metallic shades with my fingers vs. using a brush. My MAC 242 brush did work well but I got a much truer colour payoff using my fingers. Otherwise, this palette definitely shows that Jaclyn Hill knew what she was doing when she was fine-tuning the formula’s with Morphe.

I know shipping to Canada is SUPER steep so it’s definitely a deterrent to ordering this palette. What I did was I had mine shipping to a store that has a parcel service just past the border. I saved quite a bit of money doing that as there is a border crossing very close to Thunder Bay. I know others have also grouped together to share the cost of shipping. So if you are interested in the palette, those are just some tips that I have. The palette did sell out again but Morphe is hoping to have more in August.

I hope you all have a beautiful day!

  1. These looks turned out really lovely! Specially the second one! 😍
I was thinking… do you think you could dupe out the Modern Renaissance or the Naked Heat with this palette?? That would be really interesting to see, or any other iconic palette that you can think of!

    • Hmm I don’t know if it would be a direct dupe for either but it does contain both orangey and pink/red based warm tones so it is similar in some ways. Plus it has a whole bunch of other tones in it as well that you don’t see in either of those palettes!
