Hi guys! I’m kind of shocked to even be writing this… Lipstick on the Lake turns… 2… today? I really can’t believe it. Time flies when you are passionate about something💜! This past year I enjoyed trying lots of new products, writing reviews and posting more makeup looks. I also upgraded my camera and lighting to help capture better photos and thus improve my content.

As always, I want to thank each and every one of you for reading my blog, for commenting and just being so amazing & supportive. I am planning on doing a giveaway as a thank you, however I’m not ready to post it quite yet. I’m hoping to have something in the next month or two. Still deciding what I want to do. I feel like my bloggiversary snuck up on me this year. Stay tuned!

To celebrate the occasion today my husband surprised me with a visit to Sephora! We were already at the mall, and I had joked that I wanted to go browse since he hasn’t been in the store yet and he surprisingly agreed. I hadn’t planned on buying anything but then he said “What if I told you that you could get anything you wanted for your blog turning two today?” I was pretty impressed that he remembered and it was a very thoughtful gesture. So a huge thank you to him not only for the surprise but for being supportive of my blogging and makeup craziness! So… here’s what I picked out!

I’ve been wanting the Kat Von D Achlemist Holographic Palette for awhile now and I couldn’t resist this little rollerball of her new fragrance, Sinner so that’s what I selected. I’ll post swatches and so on of the palette soon!

Thank you all again for another amazing year. I can’t wait to see what year 3 brings!
