Hi guys! I recently picked up the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick Haze duo when it was briefly available during a flash sale a few weeks ago. I’ve been dying to try a purplely/grey liquid lipstick so Kat Von D Haze II definitely seemed like it would fit the bill. Both shades in the set are gorgeous and by purchasing them in a set I saved a few dollars so it was a no-brainer when I placed my order. So, today’s makeup look was completely inspired by Kat Von D Haze II.

Primer: Nivea Post Shave Balm (Sensitive)
Foundation: L’Oreal Pro Matte in Classic Ivory
Concealer: Tarte Shape Tape in Fair
Powder: Laura Mercier Loose Translucent Setting Powder
Blush: Urban Decay All-Nighter Blush in Fetish
Contour: Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour Kit – Sombre & Lucid (mixed)
Highlight: Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl
Eyes: Urban Decay Primer Potion (original). Urban Decay Naked Smokey Palette – Combust (transition and under eye), Password (crease & pulled into outer corner and under eye) & High (all over lid). Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Liner in Smoke (water line). Benefit Roller Lash Mascara (lashes).
Brows: NYX Eyebrow Gel in Brunette
Lips: Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Haze II
I really, really love how Kat Von D Haze II looks on the lips. It looks SLIGHTLY patchy in my photos but to be honest, it wasn’t patchy at all in real life. I thought I’d feel a little uncomfortable wearing a more unusual looking shade in public but I actually felt very empowered wearing it. I am definitely going to be wearing it more often, that’s for sure! Haze II is not currently available by itself (nor is the duo still available) but usually after the flash sales the shades make their way into the regular collection.
This lipstick definitely held true to the regular tried and true Everlasting Liquid Lipstick formula. It wore wonderfully and lasted throughout the day. I’ve previously reviewed the Kat Von D Everlasting Lipstick formula if you’re looking for more details on wear time and so on.

I seem to have an unusual tolerance for liquid lipsticks so while I don’t experience dryness, I do know that others who are more sensitive to that have.

Wow that’s a beautiful shade on you! Wish I could wear this colour but it’s a bit too cool toned for me.
I feel like you’d like her shade ‘Requiem’ too; its similar to this, but more of a lilac-pink tone.
