August & September Favourites: Makeup, Skincare & More!

August September Favourites

Hi guys! I didn’t post my favourites for August (to be honest it was a bit difficult given my VERY minimalist summer) so I thought it would be more valuable to add them in with September so here we are! Now that the weather has been cooling down, and I’m not spending my weekends out at the lake, makeup has become more of a part of my routine again. Which, to be honest, I did miss it! So, let’s take a peak at what I’ve been loving lately!

August September Favourites

Makeup Revolution | The Matte Blush in Beloved

Makeup Revolution’s the Matte Blush in the shade Beloved has been my constant go-to every day blush for the past 2.5 months. Basically, ever since I hauled in from Ulta in July it has rocked my world. It’s a very light coral nude shade and just something about it gives my face a beautiful flushed glow. I can’t get enough of it.

Benefit | Roller Lash

I think I got this sample sized Benefit Roller Lash as a Sephora point redemption. When it first came out I heard about it all over YouTube so I kept an eye out for it in the Sephora Rewards Bazaar. I’m glad I grabbed it because I absolutely am loving how it makes my lashes look. I don’t generally buy high-end mascaras as I find drugstore ones work just as well, but I gotta say, I am finding this one worth the hype. It gives my lashes an excellent curl which seems to last throughout the day.

Kat Von D | Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Haze II

One of my makeup purchases this past month was the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick Haze Duo. The standout shade and the reason I was drawn to this duo would definitely have to be Haze II. It’s a stunning purpley-grey shade that is just so unique to my collection and looks fantastic on. Love, love, love!

Too Faced | Just Peachy Mattes Eye Shadow Palette

While I only just purchased the Too Faced Just Peachy Mattes Eye Shadow Palette last week, it is an instant favourite. I almost was going to pass on this, only because I have a TON of eye shadow but man am I glad I grabbed it. The eye shadows are just a beautiful dream to work with. I’ll post swatches and a more thorough review soon!

August September Favourites

Olay | Classic Night Cream

Classics are classics for a reason. I decided to randomly pick out a new face cream about a month or so ago and this one was on sale so I grabbed it. So far I’m really enjoying it! It’s nice to apply, absorbs relatively quickly and my face does feel firmer.

Vichy | Idéal Soleil Double Usage After-Sun Care*

I usually take a lot of care during the summer months to prevent my fair skin from getting a sun burn, however, I ended up with a pretty bad and really random looking sun burn on my shoulder/arm after a day at the cottage. I obviously missed a spot and it almost looked like someone had slapped me because you could kind of see my fingers. Anyways, I applied the Vicy Idéal Soleil Double Usage After-Sun Care on when I got home and for the next few nights. My super red burn immediately turned more of a tan colour and didn’t really peel at all. Colour me impressed!

BBW Caramel Pumpkin Swirl

Bath & Body Works | Caramel Pumpkin Swirl 3-Wick Candle

This candle is everything. It smells so delicious and it somehow seems to travel throughout my entire house. I can have this lit on the main floor for a bit and then later, when it is out, I can smell it upstairs in my bedroom. I’ve never had a candle scent travel that far, but I love it! It’s one of the fall scents and I highly recommend it!

Well, those are my favourites from both August and September! What have you been loving lately? Let me know in the comments down below!
