Favourite Hair Products

I very seldom talk about hair here as it is an area that I am pretty unskilled in. My hair routine is pretty simple: wavy, straight or up in either a bun or a ponytail. Sometimes, a braid. Anyways, with that said, I do have some favourite hair products so in keeping with my National Blog Posting Month Challenge madness, I thought I’d share them with you today. Side note – I’m pretty darn impressed I’ve been keeping up with this despite getting sick on day one! Thank goodness I was prepared, that’s all I’ve got to say! Anyways, let’s take a look at three of my favourite hair products!

Favourite Hair Products

Marc Anthony | Hydrating Coconut Oil & Shea Butter Curl Cream

Marc Anthony Coconut Oil & Shea Butter Curl Cream

My hair is naturally curly/wavy so this is by far the most essential product to my hair routine. On most days I just throw a bit of the Marc Anthony Hydrating Coconut Oil & Shea Butter Curl Cream and let it air dry. This helps tame frizz, defines my natural curls and overall makes my hair feel healthier! I can’t say enough great things about this product!

Batiste | Dry Shampoo

Batiste Dry Shampoo Original

Oh dry shampoo… what would I do without you? I don’t wash my hair every day the Batiste Dry Shampoo is great for keeping any oil at bay without making my hair feel like it is full of build-up, or having any white-cast. My favourite way to use this product is to load it in at night before bed, that way it has absorbed any oils while I sleep and by morning, it is completely gone. I typically use the original scent because I’m boring, haha!

Joico | Curl Refreshed Reanimating Mist

Joico Curl Refreshed Reanimating Mist

Since I don’t wash my hair every day, sometimes if I want to wear my hair down again, it needs a little help. This is where the Joico Curl Refreshed Reanimating Mist comes in handy. It helps reduce any frizz and re-defines any curls that lost some of their form.

You’ll notice that I didn’t mention any products for straightening my hair and that is because I’ve yet to find one that didn’t leave my hair looking greasy. There are a few that I use but I find I have to put some dry shampoo in my hair afterwards to absorb the excess shine. If anyone has some non-greasy straightening product suggestions let me know!

What are your favourite hair products? Let me know in the comments below!

xoxo,

Robyn
