I think one of the best parts about the VIB Rouge Sale in the fall is that it is always right around my birthday. Between the desire to treat myself and a few generous gift cards (thank you to my family!), I usually end up with a pretty decent haul. The last of my packages arrived yesterday so I’m ready to share the damage with you!

Violet Voss | Ride or Die Eyeshadow Palette

I had only intended to get one palette during this sale, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism Eyeshadow Palette, however, another gift card rolled in around the same time I got the “back in stock” email so it seemed like fate. I’m so glad that Sephora is carrying Violet Voss now. I bought their collaboration palette with Laura Lee last year and really loved it. It was a bit pricy but the 20% off made it worthwhile and they really do make great eye shadows.

Anastasia Beverly Hills | Prism Eyeshadow Palette

I had the Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism Eyeshadow Palette on my wish list and I knew I had to pick this up. I typically love their palettes and I was really drawn to the shade selection in this one. I can’t wait to slather Dimension all over my eyelid.

Lip Products

Too Faced | Melted Latex Liquified Lipstick in Unicorn Tears

This was a spontaneous purchase – it looks so beautiful I really couldn’t pass it up. This colour looks right up my alley! I can’t wait to put it on my lips!

Bite Beauty | Agave Lip Mask

Another spontaneous purchase! This was inspired by Pretty Ruff Life’s VIB Sale Recommendations. I am an avid wearer of lip moisturizers both at bed time and before I apply lipstick so I’ve been dying to try this one for awhile. Her post reminded me that I needed to get this!

Bite Beauty | Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Black Truffle

One of the few items from my original list that were actually purchased! I really do use my wish lists more as a jumping off point, but I often do stray and re-think what I actually want to purchase when the sale actually starts. Bite Beauty Black Truffle looks so pretty and I am all over darker shades right now.

Bite Beauty | Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick in Purée

When making my initial list I forgot that I’ve been wanting to try the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipsticks. I chose the shade Purée as it looked like a beautiful burnt orange and I don’t really have a ton of those in my collection at the moment.

Too Faced | Too Faced Primed & Peachy Cooling Matte Perfecting Primer

On a whim I added this product to my cart as I have oily skin and it had pretty decent reviews. I’ll be sure to give my thoughts on it once I try it out a bit more! Just some initial impressions though – it smells amazing!

While I didn’t purchase many of the items on my initial list, I am definitely happy with what I did pick up. I spent hours on the Sephora website deliberating before placing my orders. I was disappointed that I didn’t actually make it INTO the store for the first VIB sale since we have had Sephora in Thunder Bay but I was so sick during the sale that I definitely could not have left the house. There’s always next time!
