Though the Kat Von D Innerstellar Eyeshadow Palette has been discontinued, it is still one of my favourite palettes to use. Since I posted a purple manicure yesterday for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, I thought I’d continue the theme and post about my favourite purple palette today. The Kat Von D Innerstellar Eyeshadow Palette was a limited edition, cool-toned palette that launched in 2014. Though it had mixed reviews, I personally haven’t had any issues with it and deeply adore it.
The packaging of this palette was well-suited for it’s name as it has a very intergalactic feel to it. It also had the classic cardboard packaging that Kat Von D’s eyeshadow palettes at the time were sporting. I quite like this packaging personally. Its sleek and easy to store. I just wish the eyeshadow names were on the inside, not on the bottom.
My personal favourite shade in this palette is Dios, the grey shade that is the second on the bottom row of the palette. If/when I hit pan on this shade, it is going to be a very sad day. It is my favourite grey eye shadow in the world. I loooooove it in the crease for a cool purple eyeshadow look. I don’t exactly know what it is about this shade, whether it is the texture or just the overall look of it, that makes me love it so much.
I find all of the shades in the Kat Von D Innerstellar Eyeshadow Palette to be pigmented and easy to blend. I have definitely used them all at some point or another. Honestly looking at this palette just makes me want to rush out and buy more cool-toned palettes. I’ve done a couple looks using this palette in the past on the blog, you can find them here & here (includes video). If you happen to stumble upon this palette and you use cool-toned shades, grab it!
