Palette Spotlight: Urban Decay Naked Palette

Urban Decay Naked Palette

Today’s Palette Spotlight is certainly not a new palette but, if I’m going to go through my palette collection with you guys, I have to start somewhere. The original Urban Decay Naked Palette seems like a very logical place to start for me. This has been my go-to palette again for the last little while. I’ve been sick all month so when I just want to throw a little makeup on to look less deathly, this is the neutral palette I’ve been going for.

Urban Decay Naked Palette Packaging

I’m not so fond of the packaging for this palette as I find fuzzy material like this hard to keep clean and it attracts everything. I’m glad they strayed from this and started using plastic for the Naked palettes that came after the original.

What I love about the Urban Decay Naked Palette is that while there are many, many subtle makeup looks you can do using it, there are also the deeper colours at the end that add some drama. My personal favourite shades are: Virgin, Sin, Naked, Buck and Hustle.

Urban Decay Naked Palette Swatches

Just this past spring I shared my updated everyday makeup look which uses the Urban Decay Naked Palette and showcases my most commonly used look with this palette. The eyeshadows are all very easy to use so this palette is perfect for both beginners and those more experienced with makeup.

What’s your go-to eye shadow palette? Let me know in the comments below! Be sure to check out the other posts in my Palette Spotlight series!

xoxo,

Robyn
