November Favourites: Makeup, Skincare & More!

November Favourites

November… where did it go? I blogged my way right through it and here we are already nearly a week into December. With some upcoming travel on the horizon, I have to say, I’m pretty excited that time has been moving fast. So what was I loving in the month of November? It ended up being another minimal month as I was sick a lot of the month and wearing makeup when you’re constantly blowing your nose is kind of counter-productive. Alas, I did end up discovering a few products that became instant-favourites!

Too Faced Primed & Peachy Cooling Matte Perfecting Primer, Fenty Beauty Invisimatte Blotting Powder & Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Spiced Plum

Too Faced | Primed & Peachy Cooling Matte Skin Perfecting Primer

I purchased the Too Faced Primed & Peachy Cooling Matte Skin Perfecting Primer during the Sephora VIB Rouge Sale on a whim and boy am I glad I did! It smells delightful and does an excellent job at keeping my skin matte throughout the day. Though the weather has been cold and dry, my skin gets shiny throughout the day all year round. This has instantly become a staple in my makeup routine and was recently featured in my Oily Skin Essentials post.

Fenty Beauty | Invisimatte Blotting Powder

My sister bought the Fenty Beauty Invisimatte Blotting Powder for my birthday and this is another instant favourite. Between this and the Too Faced primer above my skin has never been more matte (in a good way)! It feels very lightweight and sets my makeup beautifully for a shine-free day. This product was also featured in my Oily Skin Essentials post!

Bite Beauty | Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Spiced Plum

What’s better than Bite Beauty’s Amuse Bouche Lipstick? A sparkly metallic one, of course! This berry-red shade has been getting me into the holiday spirit and has been a lipstick I have been wearing a lot lately. It may be metallic but it is definitely daytime-appropriate. I recently did a full post on the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Spiced Plum if you’re looking for more photos!

Garnier SkinActive Moisture Bomb Antioxidant Super Moisturizer & Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask

Garnier | SkinActive Moisture Bomb Antioxidant Super Moisturizer*

I received a number of Garnier skincare products about a month ago and I’ve been really enjoying this daily moisturizer. I’ve been using it a lot on my nose as it ended up rather dry and flaky from being sick. I tend to use more hydrating products like this either on days where I’m not going anywhere or in the evening because they tend to make me oilier. I love the way it hydrates my skin and how quickly it absorbs!

Bite Beauty | Agave Lip Mask

I had seen the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask raved about time and time again so I finally picked one up during the Sephora VIB Rouge Sale. I should have picked this up a long time ago because this is fantastic! My lips tend to get a bit on the dry side at this time of year between the cold winter weather and my infinity for matte liquid lipsticks so I love to pile this on at bedtime. My lips have never been smoother or more hydrated! My favourite matte liquid lipsticks have never looked better on my lips or have felt more comfortable!

Barb faux leather hidden wedge lace up bootie

Maurices | Barb Faux Leather Hidden Wedge Lace-up Bootie

I bought these booties in early November because I had read great reviews on how comfortable they are. They looked perfect for my upcoming trip to Paris as I imagine I will be doing a lot of walking, but I still wanted something that looked stylish. I can’t get over how comfortable they are! I’ve taken them on many walks and errands and never once have my feet gotten sore. I highly recommend them!
