Benefits Cosmetics is a brand that is no stranger so my vanity, but I have to say I was pretty excited when I found out that I would be receiving a Benefit Cosmetic’s Vox Box from Influenster complimentary for review. Appropriately titled the BeneFaves Vox Box, this box contains four of their most loved products. Two were new to me and two were not, but none of them have previously been reviewed here so today I’ve got four mini reviews for you. Are they all really BeneFaves? Keep reading to find out!
Ka-Brow!
As an avid user of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow, I was excited to receive Benefit’s Ka-Brow! to try as I had heard some positive things about it. It’s a cream brow product with an interesting twist… it comes with a brush inside the lid! It’s pigmented, easy to apply and the included brush make this a win for me! A little bit goes a long way and I find that my brows look the same at night as they did when freshly applied. I actually think I might like this better than Dipbrow!
Hoola Bronzer
I’ve been interested in trying Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer for a long time. I don’t buy a lot of bronzers so this is probably why it took me so long to try this. I have to say though, the hype is real, I love this bronzer! It applies very smoothly and blends in very well. It also is pigmented enough to show up on the face, but not so much that it appears to be too much too fast.
The Porefessional
I’ve tried Benefit’s Porefessional before as I’ve received many samples of this product over the year. I typically only apply this product on my nostrils and cheeks where my pores are larger rather than all over my face. It does help minimize pores but it’s a step that I honestly don’t add to my routine very often. It doesn’t really do much for my oily skin so I typically use a more mattifying primer.
They’re Real Mascara
Ahhh, Benefit’s They’re Real Mascara. I have a mixed relationship with this product. I absolutely LOVE how it looks on my lashes. I always feel like I’m having a great lash day when I wear this mascara. My lashes look longer, have a nice curl and are nicely separated when I wear this. However, the downside is that it is SO difficult to remove. But, I’ll spend a little extra time removing my makeup for beautiful lashes! I get a lot of samples of this mascara so I’ve never actually purchased a full size as I never seem to have to. It appears frequently in it’s sample size in freebies from Sephora.
A simple makeup look using Benefit Cosmetics Ka-Brow!, Hoola Bronzer, The Porefessional & They’re Real Mascara.
Overall, this box was a win! There wasn’t really a dud in the box so I can see why it was called the BeneFaves Vox Box! I would definitely use all of these products.
