Glitter Eye Makeup Look: Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner

Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner

December was a busy month, I had meant to post more holiday inspired makeup looks but only managed to get one up. However, I’ve been wanting to do a silvery/purple makeup look with the Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in the shade Glamrock that I picked up in December. So, since I had a birthday party to go to I decided to create the look that I didn’t get a chance to do for the holiday season. I had also meant to post something using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism Palette so this worked out perfectly!

I’ve been really enjoying the Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism Palette, I absolutely love the shades that they included in it. It is unfortunately no longer available on the Sephora website as it was a holiday limited edition item (though it is still available on Anastasia Beverly Hill’s website). It really made up for the issues that the Subculture Palette had (I didn’t dislike it enough to return it, but it isn’t my favourite palette). The Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner was just as amazing as I hoped it would be. It is fairly concentrated with glitter, but also doesn’t fall out at all. It stayed in place all night and didn’t transfer at all. I was a bit worried it would transfer up my eye lid but it didn’t at all. My camera definitely didn’t do it justice!

  1. I like how the shimmer is more of a peekaboo effect on your lids and you kept the rest of your face relatively matte.
How do you like the Fenty Invisimatte Blotting Powder? I’m thinking of trying it.

    • I’ve been really enjoying the Fenty Invismatte Blotting Powder, I still do get a bit oily throughout the day (I always do) but it seems to help slow down the process!
